Radiographer / Trainee Sonographer

This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata'd to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under theNSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.

This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What you'll be doing

To provide high level radiographic services to the patients of Far West NSW LHD in accordance with established radiographic practices and patient care, with particular focus on the area of expertise.

Ultrasound qualifications preferred or desire to undertake future ultrasound training desirable

How to apply

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.

• Current authority to practice as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and hold a current NSW EPA radiation licence.
• Demonstrated effective clinical and non-clinical communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated high level of knowledge and proficiency in complex clinical procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own and section workload.
• Demonstrated experience developing and supervising multi-disciplinary teams.
