Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week) – 9 day fortnight

The role:Joining Council's friendly Parks & Facilities team, you will play a vital role in constructing and maintaining Council's parks, facilities, trees and gardens ensuring all works are carried out in a safe, efficient and effective manner. In the role you will be joining an established team of professionals with a strong and supportive team culture. You will be applying your knowledge of horticultural, landscaping and green keeping, construction & maintenance practices and irrigation systems. What we have to offer- $ – $ per 38 hour week + 12% super + potential overtime (if desired) and the opportunity for salary progression

- 9 day fortnight (that means every second weekend is a long weekend)

- Salary sacrifice options What we need from you:The successful applicant will hold a relevant trade qualification in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens or similar. Ideally you will also have demonstrated experience in overseeing park maintenance and infrastructure related functions. The ability to provide sound horticultural advice on current trends and industry best practice is highly regarded.
