A fantastic full time, permanent role has come up for a
Parts Manager - Defence
to join our Parts team in our
National Parts Distribution Centre
based in
Wacol, Brisbane.
In this role you will:
- Manage the process for Defence Parts through various Projects, Integration (Production) and Aftersales (Through Life Support)
- Liaise and assist Defence Programs Group with improvements / management of critical parts to meet key contractual KPI's
- Assist to create and maintain item data in IDS master data file
- Maintain tools to automate and improve the reporting (KPI) processes
- Maintain BOM data
About you:
- Ability to apply appropriate problem-solving techniques, analyse situations and communicate solutions to senior management.
- Experience in Logistics, Warehousing, Defence and Supply Chain Management
- Ability to understand and interpret data including sales trends, forecasts and stocking turns/levels, financial reports
- Proficient user of MS Office suite of tools to build reports and present information
- Communicate effectively with others - the ability to work as part of a team and has a commitment to being a team player.
- Experience with initiating and developing processes and procedures
- Knowledge of an ERP system such as IDS is desirable
- Ability to communicate information in a positive manner i.e., clear, logical, helpful, prompt, to fellow employees.
