Cyberlinx is a fast-growing, pure-play cybersecurity consultancy delivering high-impact work across enterprise, government, and critical infrastructure. We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Security Consultant to be part of our Offensive Security team.

About the Role

As our Senior Security Consultant, you'll work on a variety of offensive security engagements spanning infrastructure, cloud, wireless, and human-focused vectors.

You will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on a wide range of penetration testing engagements, including:

  • Internal and External Network Penetration Testing
  • Wireless Network Assessments
  • Cloud Security Assessments
  • Social Engineering (e.g. phishing, vishing, physical assessments)
  • Red Team Operations / Adversary Simulation
  • AI and ML System Penetration Testing (non-mandatory)

You'll work closely with clients, help shape testing strategies, and deliver meaningful results that help organisations strengthen their security posture.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience.
  • Strong proficiency in offensive tooling, methodology, and manual exploitation techniques.
  • Proven ability to deliver clear, well-structured reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with clients and leading testing engagements from start to finish.
  • Credentials in Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) or similar - essential.
  • Experience with social engineering and red teaming is desirable.
  • Exposure to AI/ML system testing or interest in emerging threat vectors is a plus.
  • Must be based in Sydney (WFH).

Certifications (Desirable)

  • OSCE, OSEP, OSEE
  • CREST CRT/CCT (or equivalent)
