The Water Group Infrastructure Delivery team is currently seeking to appoint Project Managers, responsible and accountable for the delivery of infrastructure projects across regional NSW.
Committed funding for Water Infrastructure Projects, including SDLAM Acceleration and Reconnecting River Country, has driven the requirement for a bulk recruitment of roles to achieve delivery of key projects by 31 December 2026 to meet funding deed requirements.
About You
The Project Manager will support the Director Infrastructure Projects by leading the day-to-day project management and delivery of a number of infrastructure projects, coordinating resources and contracted services, managing budgets and ensuring project deliverables and milestones are met within required timeframes. The Project Manager will help ensure the project is developed in line with Government, customer and community objectives, as well as meeting environmental and planning requirements.
- Project delivery and leadership - Lead day-to-day management of infrastructure projects, coordinating resources, contractors and services to meet milestones, budgets and performance targets.
- Governance and compliance - Ensure projects align with government, community and environmental objectives, and comply with legislative, regulatory and policy requirements, embedding audit and assessment frameworks.
- Stakeholder engagement - Represent the organisation across government, industry and community forums, building relationships and resolving project issues to support successful outcomes.
- Reporting and decision support - Provide accurate and timely reports, briefings and advice to executives, governance bodies and Ministers, ensuring risks are escalated and key decisions are informed.
