Planning Group
takes centre stage. Driven by the NSW Government's unwavering commitment to tackle the critical housing issue, we provide essential support and strategic guidance. The
Planning Land Use Strategy, Housing and Infrastructure (PLUSHI)
team are the driving force behind the Department's strategic planning, policy, rezoning, and infrastructure projects, all aimed at making New South Wales a better place to live.
The role
The
Infrastructure Planning Officer
support the negotiation, preparation and administration of State planning agreements for the provision of public infrastructure by reviewing proposals initiated by landholders seeking to accelerate the release of land and working with authorities to ensure that the required infrastructure is available where such proposals are implemented.
Collaborating with government stakeholders to assist in the preparation of strategic and/or detailed infrastructure plans and associated funding arrangements to support growth, you will support the production high quality work on a wide range of matters relating to strategic infrastructure planning, including written reports and advice to Government.
Essential requirements for this role include a
ppropriate tertiary qualifications i.e. engineering, economics, urban planning, land surveying, project management, construction management and/or equivalent relevant industry experience.
