The Personnel Security Coordinator role at ANSTO offers a unique opportunity to contribute towards security within a leading scientific and technological organisation. The role involves a blend of customer service, administrative duties, and security management, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment. This position is integral to maintaining the safety and security of ANSTO's facilities, personnel, and visitors as the first point of contact for all individuals attending site.

As a Personnel Security Coordinator, your key duties and responsibilities include:

• Security Clearance Process: Initiate the on-boarding security clearance process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of submitted applications
• Visitor Management: Administer the Visitor Management Software (VMS) system, ensuring all visitor and escort records are accurately entered and maintained.
• Customer Service: Provide timely responses to in person, telephone and email inquiries, directing them appropriately and ensuring high levels of customer service.
• Administrative Tasks: Undertake a range of administrative responsibilities, including data entry, procurement, and maintaining records in systems such as Gallagher, SAP, and HRO.
• Teamwork: Work effectively within a small team, supporting colleagues and prioritising tasks to meet tight deadlines and objectives.

These responsibilities ensure the effective and efficient operation of ANSTO's security functions, contributing to the overall safety and security of the organisation.
