We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator to join our team at Bossy Boots Early Learning Kingscliff. As a Lead Educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the learning and development of young children, fostering their growth through engaging educational programs and a nurturing environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement high-quality, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Mentor and support educators, modelling best practices in childcare and early childhood education
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to understand each child's individual needs and create personalised learning experiences
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes the well-being and holistic development of children
  • Maintain accurate records, observations, and assessments to track children's progress and inform future planning
  • Comply with all relevant childcare regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care

What we're looking for

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience as a Lead Educator or in a similar role within the childcare industry
  • Strong understanding of child development and the ability to design tailored educational programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the wider community
  • Proven ability to mentor and support a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry best practices
  • Valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
