Twin Towns Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant and nurturing team in Tweed Heads, NSW. As a Full time role, you will assist in delivering a program that is enriching, exciting, intriguing and inclusive of all learning styles.
We are welcoming applications from experienced, passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators.
You will be responsible for
- Assist in designing and implementing a quality educational program in line with NQF, NQS and National Law and Children's Services Regulations.
- Observing and assessing children's progress, to inform lesson planning and individualised support
- Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with the team, inspiring and leading those you work with.
- Working in consultation with our Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor to ensure all outcomes are met for our little leaners
- Contributing to the Quality Improvement Plan of the service
- Completing professional development opportunities of interest and relevance to our service.
The position would suit someone who
- Is creative and passionate about early childhood education and is looking to enrich and support the learning of children.
- Confident in leading and working with the team
- Is open to sharing their knowledge and mentoring other educators
- Has great written and verbal communication skills
You will need:
- Diploma in Early Childhood - (recognised by ACECQA)
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid certification
- NSW Approved Child Protection Training/ or willingness to complete
- To love working in a dynamic environment
