Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
If you are a registered nurse and would like to explore post graduate study through an employment based training program this opportunity may be for you Northeast Health Wangaratta in partnership with La Trobe University are inviting application for Post Graduate Diploma in Nursing or Master of Nursing in 2025. Students will learn how to recognise, respond to, and manage patients with acute presentations and evaluate care delivery to improve patient experience and outcomes. The emphasis is on multidisciplinary, holistic, patient centred care that is evidence-based.
The course provides registered nurse working at Northeast Health Wangaratta access to a wide variety of specialisations. The course is delivered in a flexible, blended learning approach that combines face-to-face workshops with online study and practical tutorials that fit around your work commitments in your own hospital's relevant work setting with mentoring and supervision from a dedicated clinical support and educator team.
