About the Program

As part of the Central Hume Graduate Nurse Program, our graduates experience a well-rounded and supportive transition to practice.

We offer:

  • 2 Rotation Stream Graduate Positions – 0.8 EFT (4 days per week)
  • Rotations in Aged Care and Acute settings
  • Individualised support and professional development
  • Dedicated Clinical Nurse support 5 days a week
  • Clinical Educator available 3 days a week
  • Participation in Graduate Nurse Study Days with EN and RN graduates from other regional hospitals
  • Leadership skill development within a supportive, team-focused environment
  • Unique insight into the rewards and challenges of rural health care

  • Current CV – including clinical placement history and two professional/clinical referees (include work email addresses)
  • Certified copy of academic transcripts with results legend
  • Passport-sized photo
  • Two most recent ACUTE (not aged care) clinical placement reports
  • Current Police Check, Working With Children Check, and Immunisation History (to be presented at interview)
