The Education Directorate is seeking a skilled and experienced Director, People Cases to lead a specialist team within the People and Performance Branch. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic oversight and expert advice on misconduct and reportable conduct matters, helping to shape a culture of integrity and accountability across the ACT public education system.

We're looking for professionals with:

  • Extensive experience managing complex and sensitive employee relations matters within the ACTPS and/or a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • High-level written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy, and enterprise agreements relevant to employee relations and other people related matters.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional memberships in human resources would be an advantage, including AHRI Professional Accreditation or a Practising Certificate.
