About the role

We are currently seeking to appoint Vocational Trainer

& Assessor for our Brisbane Campus. This is a

casual position responsible for face-to-face delivery of efficient,

engaging and effective training to VET students.

This role will involve the delivery and assessment of all

units within Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (ICT60220) as well as some associated compliance and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering and assessing one or more of our

qualifications and units.

Developing and renewing learning and assessment

resources.

Assisting with compliance requirements in relation to

learning and assessment resources.

Skills and experience

Essential Criteria:

Background working in your chosen field.

Formal qualifications in your chosen field. You will be

required to hold the same qualification, experience or higher qualification that you are

Experience delivering VET qualifications is desirable but not essential.

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122 or diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education)

Vocational currency in your chosen field.

Participation in the Professional Development plan.

Excellent communication/people skills.

Excellent personal presentation.

Excellent skills in MS suite of computer software (Excel, MS word, PowerPoint).

Formal qualifications:

You should hold Advanced Diploma of Information Technology or Bachelor's degree in information technology/computer science/computer engineering.
