Granex Trade Supplies is Perth's newest direct trade store specialising in a full range of Concrete Supplies, Trade Hardware and Industrial Solutions. As part of SDii Group, our existing concrete business, Granex Trade is backed by 16 years of specific industry experience and networks looking to support our own industry, with a strong focus on service and delivery of quality products. The business owner is involved in the business on a day to day basis, driving the business forward with passion, genuine approach and a "can do" attitude applied to all dealings with customers, builders and our team.

Overview:

We are looking for a reliable, passionate and proactive, skilled Trade Sales professional with a strong background in the concrete and trade sector, driven by a commitment to exceptional customer service.

This is an exciting opportunity to work predominately in our shop, closely with the business owner, providing expert product advice and technical insights to our trade and industry clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in concrete equipment, trade hardware, or the landscape industry is essential, as is a background in building and construction or familiarity with steel scheduling and estimating.
  • In-depth knowledge of concrete equipment, machinery, tools, and materials.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role and a well-established network within the industry.
  • A forklift license and/or forklift experience is preferred.
  • Strong customer focus and professional communication with a dedication to excellent service.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with a sound understanding of Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Experience with Hike POS System, Eftpos machines, and MYOB will be highly regarded.
  • Highly developed organisational skills and the self-motivation to work autonomously.
  • Proactive approach to work with initiative and has a 'can do' attitude'.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to support in-store trade sales for our valued trade customers.
  • Address customer enquiries with effective solutions and guidance, offering advice and information tailored to trade and commercial clients.
  • Process in-store and phone sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the business owner to drive sales and contribute to business growth.
  • Perform general shop duties, including packing, loading trucks, stock replenishment and other hands-on tasks as needed.
