About the role

We are seeking a full-time Trade Centre Assistant to join our team at the Jandakot, WA location. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Warehousing & Production operations, assisting customers and supporting the overall efficiency of our Trade Centre.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing excellent customer service to trade customers, assisting them with product information and pricing
  • Using forklifts and small wheel loaders in daily operations
  • Accurately processing sales transactions and handling payments
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the Trade Centre, including restocking shelves and managing inventory levels
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks to ensure the timely distribution of products
  • Providing support to the wider Warehousing, Storage & Distribution team as required

What we're looking for

  • This is a junior role and we are seeking someone who is keen to learn our industry and can adapt to improve the business and the Trade Centre branch while working in a tight-knit team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems preferred but not necessary, as training will be provided. We currently use Pronto PoS
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of organisation and cleanliness
  • A current forklift licence is required
  • Front-end loader experience is preferred (Komatsu WA100/Volvo L40B size)
  • Training will be provided for front-end loader operations
