About the Role
Join one of the largest Allied Health teams outside metropolitan Adelaide and lead the growth and re-establishment of an enviable podiatry service. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Community Nursing and Physiotherapy, delivering outpatient care across:
- Diabetic foot management and high-risk foot care
- Nail surgery, skin and nail pathology, and wound management
- Orthotic prescription, podopaediatrics, biomechanics, and palliative care
- Health promotion, patient education, and innovative telehealth programs
This leadership position offers the opportunity to:
- Expand outreach services across six regional Limestone Coast towns
- Develop podiatry student placement clinics and supervise Allied Health Assistants
- Build and innovate models of care, including Basic Nail Clinics and Residential Aged Care services
- Strengthen links with specialist clinics at Flinders Medical Centre, including High-Risk Foot and Vascular Clinics
With direct support from the Advanced Clinical Lead Podiatrist and Regional Manager Allied Health, you'll have the freedom to dream big, shape service delivery, and implement best-practice models for the region.
