Commercial Electrician

GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a skilled Commercial Electrician based in Malaga, WA. This position is a long-term, ongoing opportunity to join a reputable electrical company specialising in commercial construction, fit outs, refurbishments, and maintenance projects across the Perth metro area. The role will involve working on shopping centres, offices, hospitality venues, and other commercial sites.

About the role:

We are looking for candidates with strong commercial electrical experience. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems across various commercial projects. This role is best suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can work independently, and enjoys being part of a professional and supportive team. The company prioritises safety, quality, and long-term development training and support are available for the right person.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Ability to work unsupervised on commercial sites

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and breakdowns

• Perform routine electrical maintenance and inspections

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and technical schematics

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

• Install, commission and upgrade electrical systems and components

• Troubleshoot issues efficiently to minimise downtime

To be considered for these positions, you must be able to provide the following:

• A-Grade Electrical Licence

• White Card (OHS Construction Induction)

• CPR, LVR, and First Aid certification

• Current Driver Licence

• Based already in Perth, WA

• Have full Australian working rights

• Reference contact details of two past employers
