About the role:

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentices to join our team at All Hours Electrical WA in Malaga. In this full-time position, you will work alongside our experienced team, gaining hands-on experience and honing your skills in the electrical trade. There are opportunities for ongoing employment upon successful completion of your apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install: Install electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to plans and technical diagrams.
  • Maintain: Perform regular maintenance and inspections to ensure electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
  • Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including faults, malfunctioning equipment, and other electrical problems.
  • Test: Use testing devices to identify and fix electrical problems, ensuring all systems meet safety and performance standards as per AS3000.
  • Document: Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain electrical issues and solutions, providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Currently in the 3rd or 4th year of your electrical apprenticeship.
  • White Card.
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and independently.
  • Commitment to learning and workplace health & safety.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
