We are a thriving specialist clinic performing surgeries of the Mouth, Face and Jaws. We pride ourselves on excellence in patient care in a warm, professional environment. We are looking for the right individual to join our small, supportive team.

Your role is to provide surgical assistance to an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, support patients through their clinical journey and coordinate the provision of clinical care. We value all our patients and aim to provide an exceptional patient experience.

Prior experience in dental assisting or in the medical field is ideal but not essential. This role is fully supported and is a unique opportunity to grow your career as it provides skills development for careers in both dental and medical practice.

About the Role

  • Oral Surgery Assistant & Treatment Coordinator for an Oral & Maxillofacial Clinic (Surgery of the Mouth, Face and Jaws)
  • Part Clinical, Part Administrative Role
  • 2/3 days a week (Tuesdays, Fridays and occasional Mondays) with potential for more days
  • Central City Location
  • Expected Salary: $30-$40 per hour (based on prior experience and qualifications)
  • Prior experience is desirable but not essential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeon during oral surgery procedures
  • Surgery room preparation and instrument sterilisation
  • Maintain clinical areas in spotless condition
  • Coordinate clinical activities to ensure smooth clinical operations
  • Support patient care from consultation through post operative management
