Skippy Skips is a locally owned skip bin company, proudly servicing Townsville and surrounding areas. We're looking for a reliable Skip Truck Driver to join our team on a casual/relief basis, covering regular shifts and holiday relief.
The Role- Drive skip bin trucks safely and efficiently across Townsville.
- Deliver, collect, & dispose of bin contents from job site to waste disposal areas.
- Assist with general yard duties when required.
- Hours range from 8 to 30 per week depending on workload.
- Shifts are generally Monday to Friday, with some overtime during peak periods (penalty rates apply).
- Full training and induction provided.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain truck cleanliness.
- Follow all safe work practices and procedures.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Handle some physical duties as part of the job.
- Licence: Current HR or MR licence (required).
- Experience: Previous skip truck or waste industry experience preferred.
- Local knowledge: Must live in Townsville with good area awareness.
