Program Coordinator – Supported Independent Living (NDIS)

Location: Coffs Harbour, the role will be a combination of in office hours, on-site and opportunity for work-from-home days.

Are you an experienced leader in the disability sector, passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred supports? Chrysalis Accommodation is seeking a skilled Program Coordinatorto manage a portfolio of NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) services.

This role is responsible for leading staff teams, ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and supporting participants to achieve their goals in safe, supportive home environments.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise SIL support teams including recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and performance management.
  • Oversee participant services: intake, assessments, planning, transition, and ongoing reviews.
  • Conduct regular site visits to SIL homes, monitoring staff practice, participant engagement, HSE standards, and property maintenance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all NDIS Practice Standards, including incident reporting, staff training records, and audit readiness.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional practice.
  • Work closely with families, guardians, support coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure positive participant outcomes.
  • Manage rostering and service delivery in collaboration with SIL Administrators.
About you:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Disability, Community Services, Human Services, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role within the NDIS or community services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of SIL services, NDIS Quality & Safeguards Framework, and compliance processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in staff management, performance improvement, and HR processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High-level organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems.
  • Ability to participate in a rotating on-call roster.
