Make Disability Support Worker – Complex Participants

We are seeking experienced and reliable male disability support workers to provide 2:1 support to a young participant with complex behavioural needs. This role requires workers who are confident, assertive, and experienced in supporting participants with high intensity requirements.
About the Role
- Shifts available:
• 3:00 pm – 9:00 am (sleepover included)
• 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm - High intensity support – above award rates apply
- Consistent and ongoing roster
- Work within a supportive team environment with management guidance
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily living support, personal care, and assistance with evening and morning routines
- Implement and follow behaviour support strategies for complex behaviours
- Maintain accurate reporting, including detailed shift notes and incident records
- Take initiative, problem solve on shift, and remain calm under pressure
- Work assertively within a 2:1 support model, ensuring participant safety and wellbeing
About You
- Male support worker (requirement due to participant's care needs)
- Demonstrated experience with complex participants and behaviours of concern
- Minimum 6-12 months experience working with complex participants and behaviours of concern is required
- Strong reporting skills, both written and verbal
- Confident in decision-making, assertive, and able to follow behaviour support plans
- Reliable, professional, and able to build positive rapport
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, Police Check, First Aid, and a valid driver's licence (or willing to obtain)
- Must have legal work rights in Australia
