The Role

We're seeking a savvy retail operator who can excel in a fast-paced management environment. You'll oversee all aspects of store operations while driving sales performance and developing your team to achieve ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff rostering and wage budget management
  • Stock control, ordering and inventory optimization
  • Visual merchandising and store presentation standards
  • Budget achievement and KPI performance tracking
  • Team development and performance management
  • Customer service excellence and sales growth initiatives

Essential Requirements

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven retail store management experience (essential)
  • Strong merchandising flair with attention to visual presentation
  • Sales-driven approach with demonstrated KPI achievement
  • Experience in rostering staff within wage budgets
  • Stock ordering and inventory management expertise
  • Team leadership and performance management capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
  • POS system proficiency
  • Upbeat, friendly personality with natural motivational abilities

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in discount variety retail sector
  • Track record in high-volume retail environments
