Job description:

Due to an internal move, Komatsu are looking for a Technician to join our team in Fairfield. This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on role assembling Komatsu OEM equipment. You'll handle everything from base machine assembly and fitting customer-specific options to performance testing - all while meeting Komatsu's highest quality standards and following Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and installation guides.

Profile description:

What you'll bring:

  • Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification
  • Full drivers licence
  • Forklift license or ability to obtain, or overhead Gantry certificates.
  • Experience in utility, construction, or mining machinery environments.
  • Strong trouble shotting and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and understand customer needs.
  • Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and random drug testing.
  • Ability to complete timesheets and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Willingness to take direction from Leading Hands, Supervisors, and Production Managers.
  • Willingness to foster a positive, respectful team environment, free from bullying or harassment.
