
Production Manager- The Lion King Production- 6- month contract

This role will work with the Director, Production APAC and the Disney Theatrical Group team to deliver and support the production set up for the upcoming Disney production of The Lion King.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the budget tracking for the production, including production, operating, and move budgets
- Support the Director, Production APAC to manage & negotiate employment contracts for cast, touring crew, and musicians
- Manage and negotiate contracts for vendors, including accommodation providers, rehearsal rooms, and event teams
- Assist with scheduling and time-line requirements for productions
- Oversee all production PR related activity and manage the delivery as required
- Work with the Company Management team to deliver the weekly production payroll
- Ensure all regulations are met for the safe employment of children in productions
- Vendor relationship management and oversee payment processing
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of five years' experience in the theatre industry with experience working in a producing office or in Company Management
- Proven relationship management skills, including management of external vendors/partners
- Knowledge of the creative process in live theatre
- Excellent time management, project management, and organization skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a hectic work environment with competing demands
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Pro-active, a self-starter who is able to work without daily supervision
- Strong Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Additional Information:
- Flexibility in work hours during peak periods and accessibility outside work hours as required
- Interstate and international travel, evening, and weekend work as required
