This position will start in October/ November 2025 and continue through the summer season until April 2026.

What you will do:

The kitchen is where the magic happens in our Luxury property - and you can be part of that We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join our team to create memorable and unique experiences. Duties include -

  • Preparing menus in collaboration with colleagues

  • Ensuring adequacy of supplies at cooking stations

  • Training, developing and supporting junior chefs.

  • Preparing ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc)

  • Following the guidance of the head or sous chefs and have input in new ways of 

    presentation of dishes.

  • Putting effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality

  • Enforcing strict health and hygiene standards

What you will bring to this role:

For this position, you must be self-motivated, a team player and work well in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you will have:

  • Relevant culinary / hospitality qualifications

  • Relevant experience in a similar environment

  • Have excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and 

    processes.

  • Have the ability to think on your feet as we have many guest requests and menu 

    changes each day

  • Have good time management and the ability to multitask.

  • Thorough understanding of Health & Safety requirements

What we offer:

Due our private and remote location, you will need to have your own reliable transport. You will also need a valid working holiday visa or New Zealand work rights to apply.
