Electrical Site Engineer – Solar & BESS | Major Renewable Project (VIC)

The Opportunity

Join one of Australia's most reputable Solar EPC contractors on a landmark renewable energy development: an 80MW Solar Farm + 250MW BESS hybrid project in regional Victoria. This is a 30-month program, permanent full-time role offering a Monday–Friday roster (occasional Saturdays with TOIL or overtime pay).

About the Role

As the Electrical Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a large-scale renewable project that will set new standards for hybrid energy in Australia. Working alongside a highly skilled project team, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing electrical engineering aspects of construction & commissioning
  • Coordinating with stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian standards and project specifications
  • Supporting delivery milestones on time and within budget

About You

We're seeking an engineer who is passionate about renewable energy and thrives in dynamic project environments. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience on utility-scale solar, BESS essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management & problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work on-site in regional Victoria (DIDO relocators or regional candidates encouraged to apply – regional visa holders welcome)
