YOUR ROLE

The Learning Partner, Mathematics is a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of Mathematics initiatives at both the system-wide and school levels. This position provides strategic advice on Mathematics matters to regional teams, while actively collaborating to implement and monitor regional Mathematics strategies. Leveraging a deep understanding of regional schools, the Learning Partner contributes to the continuous improvement of Mathematics initiatives under the guidance of the Team Leader and Manager, Mathematics.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assist in the implementation of Mathematics programs at both the regional and school levels.
  • Provide expert advice on Mathematics issues to both regional teams and schools, ensuring alignment with Vision for Instruction goals and system Mathematics initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with regional and central teams to implement and monitor the Mathematics strategy, ensuring effective and consistent execution and outcomes.
  • Utilise in-depth knowledge of schools to inform Mathematics initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of specific Mathematics programs as directed by the Team Leader and Manager, Mathematics.
  • Ability to use data to inform and improve Mathematics practices, ensuring evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement.

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in developing and implementing Mathematics programs at system and/or school levels.
  • Proven ability to utilise data to provide strategic advice on Mathematics issues, ensuring alignment to the MACS Vision for Instruction and Mathematics initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teams in implementing and monitoring Mathematics strategies.
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills, including:
  • the ability to provide coaching, mentoring and brokered support for teachers and leaders
  • capacity to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, school leadership teams and teachers.
  • Advanced level of knowledge and skills in working with relevant software packages, especially within the Microsoft Office suite, other classroom technologies and/or willingness to learn new applications.

Salary range for this position is $79,589 (T2/1) - $118,063 (T2/6) per annum exclusive of superannuation as specified in the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 and may include additional allowances dependent on qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for school holidays.
