Key responsibilities

  • Mowing and edging all lawn areas to maintain clean, sharp presentation.
  • Weeding garden beds and open areas, including hand-weeding and selective herbicide application.
  • Pruning shrubs and hedges to maintain shape, sightlines and plant health.
  • Mulching garden beds to improve moisture retention and overall garden appearance.
  • Planting seasonal flowers and shrubs to refresh garden displays.
  • Fertilising lawns and gardens based on seasonal needs.
  • Irrigation checks and basic repairs, including adjusting sprinklers and spotting leaks.
  • Leaf blowing and debris removal to keep paths and common areas clean.
  • Monitoring plant health, identifying pests, diseases or nutrient deficiencies.
  • General site cleanup, green waste removal and maintaining tidy presentation throughout the facility.

What will you need

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens (Highly Desirable)
  • Driver's licence (Manual or Automatic)
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
