Position Overview:

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team and take responsibility for the efficient management of all warehouse operations on our Hahndorf estate, 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. The Warehouse Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing order processing, stock management, dispatch, and ensuring the overall organisation and maintenance of our onsite warehouses. Additionally, this position will involve regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily processing of direct orders received on the estate, including handling online manifests through our web portal, order packing, collation, and coordination with AusPost for timely shipments.
  • Oversee and facilitate stock receival at our onsite warehouse in collaboration with the Logistics Coordinator.
  • Coordinate the dispatch of samples to business customers, distributors, importers, wine shows, and journalists.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for liaising with external couriers, including AusPost and DHL, to resolve postage issues and ensure smooth shipping operations.
  • Perform weekly re-stocking of the Restaurant and Tasting Room stockroom.
  • Monitor the Stock on Hand (SOH) and ensure that par levels of all SKUs are maintained in our onsite warehouses.
  • Maintain efficient communication with all internal and external stakeholders, particularly the Logistics Coordinator.
  • Oversee the receipt of dry goods in the onsite warehouse when applicable.
  • Conduct monthly stock takes of all SOH in conjunction with the Logistics Coordinator to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure that all warehouse areas are kept neat, tidy, and well-maintained in an organised manner.
  • Demonstrate competence as a forklift driver and provide support to the winery and hospitality teams as needed for forklift operations and logistics.

Position Requirements:

  • Current forklift license and demonstrated forklift driving experience.
  • Valid driver's license and experience with driving a trailer.
  • Proficiency with AusPost and DHL online platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Attention to detail, maintaining a neat, tidy, and orderly workspace.
