Forklift Operator – Northern Suburbs

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our close-knit team in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide, working on our AM shift.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for logistics and a proactive approach to warehouse operations — particularly within the FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) sector.

You'll play a vital role in receiving milk and dairy products into our chilled facility and supporting their distribution to sites across South Australia. You'll also assist in loading ambient and temperature-controlled goods destined for supermarket shelves — all while working with a modern fleet in a fast-paced, chilled warehouse environment.

What You'll Be Doing:Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with regular drivers and assisting them in maintaining delivery schedules
  • Managing reverse logistics and customer liaison with Transport Managers and Supervisors
  • Operating within DIFOT and temperature control guidelines
  • Handling administrative tasks including TMS housekeeping
  • Using technology including GPS, temperature monitoring systems, and Transport Management Systems
  • Supporting audits, stocktakes, and compliance checks
  • Reporting maintenance needs and ensuring prompt action
  • Upholding company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in warehouse or distribution operations, ideally in multi-drop or FMCG environments
  • Current Forklift Licence (essential)
  • Heavy Vehicle Truck Licence (highly regarded)
  • Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
