Global Technology Solutions (GTS) at ResMed is a division dedicated to creating innovative, scalable, and secure platforms and services for patients, providers, and people across ResMed. The primary goal of GTS is to accelerate well-being and growth by transforming the core, enabling patient, people, and partner outcomes, and building future-ready operations.
The strategy of GTS focuses on aligning goals and promoting collaboration across all organizational areas. This includes fostering shared ownership, developing flexible platforms that can easily scale to meet global demands, and implementing global standards for key processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
About the role:
ResMed's Global Technology Solutions team is seeking a strategic MarTech Architect to lead the evolution of our marketing technology ecosystem within the healthcare sector. You'll design and integrate platforms like CMS, CRM, CDP, MAP, DAM, and Data Warehouse to enable impactful campaigns and seamless customer experiences.
We're looking for someone with deep technical expertise, strong marketing acumen, and a clear understanding of healthcare compliance. If you're a systems thinker who thrives on solving complex challenges and collaborating across teams—this is your opportunity to make a global impact.
Let's talk about you
MarTech Ecosystem Architecture:
- Define and maintain the overall architecture for our MarTech landscape, ensuring scalability, security, and integration across all applications.
- Develop and document architectural blueprints, standards, and best practices for MarTech implementations.
- Evaluate and recommend new MarTech technologies and solutions that align with business needs and architectural principles.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA where applicable) in the architecture and design of MarTech solutions.
Integration Strategy & Design:
- Lead the design and implementation of seamless integrations between our core MarTech applications: CMS (WordPress/HubSpot), PIM, Enterprise Search, CRM, SFMC, and CDP.
- Define data flows and integration patterns to ensure data consistency and accuracy across the MarTech stack.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to establish robust and scalable integration solutions.
Platform Governance & Standards:
- Establish and enforce governance policies and standards for the use and management of our MarTech platforms.
- Ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices during MarTech implementations and enhancements.
- Monitor the health and performance of the MarTech ecosystem, identifying and addressing potential architectural bottlenecks or issues.
- Ensure security championship and observability of platforms.
Technical Leadership & Guidance:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to application teams and vendors involved in MarTech projects.
- Mentor and coach technical resources on MarTech architecture and integration best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest MarTech trends, technologies, and best practices, and provide recommendations for adoption.
Data Architecture & Management:
- Collaborate with data architects to define the data model and data flows within the MarTech ecosystem.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all MarTech platforms.
- Design solutions that enable effective data utilization for marketing analytics, segmentation, and personalization.
Vendor Evaluation & Management (Technical Focus):
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of MarTech vendors, focusing on technical capabilities, integration options, and architectural alignment.
- Provide technical oversight for vendor implementations and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
Project Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance and oversight for MarTech implementation projects, ensuring alignment with the overall architecture.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues during project execution.
Conflict Resolution:
- Mediate and resolve technical conflicts within and between teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
Training and Facilitation:
- Conduct technical training sessions and workshops for team members and stakeholders as needed on MarTech architecture and integration aspects.
Cross Functional and Working Multiple Time Zone:
- Facilitate effective technical collaboration and communication within highly cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless technical integration of diverse skills and perspectives (e.g., Development, Marketing Technology, Infrastructure, Data Engineering). Additionally, possess the ability to effectively navigate and coordinate with technical team members and stakeholders working across multiple time zones, participating in technical discussions and ensuring alignment on architectural decisions, adapting communication strategies to ensure optimal participation and progress for all involved. This includes understanding the technical challenges of asynchronous communication and proactively implementing strategies to mitigate them.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level marketing technology solutions.
- Deep architectural understanding and hands-on experience with the specific MarTech platforms (CMS, PIM, DAM, CDP)
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, API architectures, and data integration tools and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design robust and scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams and vendors.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and their MarTech service offerings is a plus.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data analytics concepts.
- Good understanding of various security and observability tools.
