Chifley College Dunheved Campus is part of a multi-campus, secondary college located in the Mount Druitt area of the Metropolitan North Operational Directorate. Dunheved Campus is one of three Year 7-10 campuses within this five-school collegiate. The school has a current enrolment of 590 students including a seven-class support unit (one IM class, one ED class and five MC classes). These classes cater for students with a range of disabilities including mild to moderate disabilities and autism. Included within the student body, is approximately 28% of students who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and a further 31% of students from backgrounds where English is an Additional Language or Dialect, predominantly Pacific Islander.
There is a school-wide commitment to data-driven literacy and numeracy strategies, designed to meet the needs of every student and build teacher capacity. The school has established strong wellbeing programs to ensure students connect, succeed, and thrive. An enthusiastic and committed staff provide a supportive learning environment, focusing on pathways for students to, through, and beyond school. Dunheved Campus is proud to be a High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) partner school and is also part of the High School Uplift Program, further strengthening our focus on student growth, engagement, and achievement.

Selection CriteriaApplicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria:
- Proven ability to lead the TAS faculty to deliver high-quality, evidence-based teaching and learning programs, leveraging data-driven decision-making and innovative curriculum design to consistently improve student outcomes.
- Demonstrated capacity for strong faculty leadership with a focus on high impact professional learning, to inspire and build the capacity of teachers with a diverse range of skills and experiences.
- Demonstrated leadership capacity to work as a member of the executive team to drive school initiatives, contribute to the School Excellence Plan, and promote a culture of high expectations.
- Proven exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive and productive relationships with staff, parents, carers, and the wider community.
Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
