The YOT Group leads the way in luxury yacht charters in Australia, with a growing fleet of premium motor vessels, including the iconic YOT Club — the world's first super yacht entertainment venue licensed for up to 400 guests.

We are redefining on-water hospitality by delivering exceptional guest experiences through elevated service, premium amenities, and unforgettable events. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a committed and qualified Skipper (Master 4 / MED 2) to join our professional marine team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role

As Skipper and Vessel Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our vessels, including:

  • Overseeing all mechanical and electrical systems

  • Conducting daily restarts, shutdowns, and guest handovers

  • Ensuring vessel presentation and general maintenance

  • Leading the marine crew and upholding the highest safety standards

  • Protecting the safety and wellbeing of all passengers and staff onboard

This role requires strong leadership, a calm and confident presence, and a hands-on attitude toward safety, teamwork, and guest service.

What You'll Need
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position

  • Confidence operating in busy commercial marina environments

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities

  • A collaborative, team-first attitude

Required Qualifications
  • Master 4 and MED 2 certification

  • Current First Aid & CPR certification

  • Understanding of the QLD Marine Act, WHS standards, and vessel procedures

  • Valid Driver's Licence

  • Must have the right to live and work in Australia
