Qualifications and Skills:

  • Highly motivated Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer in the field of automation.
  • Ability to work with a growing company and dynamic team. Be thoroughly committed, highly reliable and self-motivated.
  • As a Mechanical Engineer in the field of Automation, you'll play a crucial role in developing automated machinery and delivering projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Inventor with demonstrated ability to create mechanical designs, pneumatic circuits, and electrical schematics
  • Mechatronics Engineers with Mechanical design experience are highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and motion control is highly regarded.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in automation machinery, packaging equipment, or similar industrial applications

  • Australian work rights or valid work visa required

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • You'll be involved in machine design, managing projects, and research and development.
  • Risk assessment (AS4024) and quality assurance are part of your responsibilities.
  • Communication skills are essential, as you'll liaise with clients and manage project schedules.
  • Hands-on skills in the workshop and problem-solving abilities are crucial.
  • Be prepared for travel related to installation, training, and commissioning.
