Job Details

DFATs Cyber Security and Networks Branch requires Cyber Security Engineers / Platform Specialists to support its Cyber Sustainment Section. The roles focus on technical improvements, security posture uplift, and maintenance of critical IT systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and support across Cyber Security, Project, and Operational branches

  • Uplift and maintain platforms in areas such as:

    • Application Control

    • Vulnerability Scanning

    • Linux Infrastructure Support

    • Privileged Access Management

    • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

  • Deliver current and upcoming cyber security projects

  • Contribute to a diverse team supporting multiple security platforms

  • Apply SFIA-based frameworks to service delivery

Selection Criteria

Max 5000 characters total in one-page pitch (individual responses not required)

Essential Criteria

  1. Linux / RHEL / Redhat Satellite / IDM / FA Policy D

  2. App Control / Carbon Black / WDAC

  3. Tenable Vulnerability Management, RunZero

  4. Privilege Access Management (MFA, Delinea Secret Server, EntraID)

  5. Active Directory Certificate Services (PKI)

  6. Microsoft EntraID Cloud Sync

Desirable Criteria

  1. EntraID Entitlement and Lifecycle Management

  2. Nutanix AOS/AHV Hybrid AOS/ESXi / Prism Central

  3. Microsoft Windows Server Platform and Patching

  4. VMware, Citrix, Powershell Scripting, Ansible, and EntraID Automation
