About the role

RISU Care Pty. Ltd. is seeking a Support Worker to join our team around Whittlesea, VIC. In this casual position, you will provide ongoing support for our participant living around in Whittlesea, VIC.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with personal care tasks as required, such as toileting, feeding, and medication administration
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment
  • Respond to and document any incidents or emergencies that occur during your shift
  • Provide a calming presence and companionship to clients throughout the night

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or a similar caregiving role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations
  • Compassionate and patient approach to working with vulnerable individuals
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
