THE OPPORTUNITY

Downer's Power Projects Business Unit is a national leader in delivering high-voltage overhead line projects across Australia. With the renewable energy transition accelerating, the transmission market is experiencing growth to expand grid capacity and resilience.

To meet this demand, Downer is seeking experienced and motivated Transmission Workers to join our industry-leading transmission projects across the country. We are looking for individuals who bring technical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to safe working practices and high-quality delivery.

In this role, you will be responsible for the construction and upgrade of transmission assets, working closely with site supervision to deliver the work scope, while adhering to all HSE procedures and statutory requirements.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience as a Transmission worker on a high voltage overhead line project
  • Working at Heights Ticket (Essential)
  • High Risk Work Licence - Dogging and Rigging (Essential)
  • First Aid & CPR
  • UETDRMP009 Perform Tower Rescue
    OHS Construction White Card
