At The Fox Hole, we believe great hospitality is a three-way harmony - delicious food, great drinks, and genuine human connection. Whether it's a perfectly paired gin and tonic or a multi-course dinner, the story we tell along the way matters just as much as what's in the glass.

That's why this isn't just a serving role - it's a talking role.

Due to one of our team being promoted internally, we're looking for a Waiter or Host who can bring charm, confidence, and curiosity to every table. Someone who can lead a section with grace, hold a conversation, and guide guests through our menu of over 80 gins, and recently awarded wines and cocktail menus.

You don't need to be a spirits or cocktail expert yet - but you do need to love learning, storytelling, and creating memorable moments. (And if you're a performer at heart, you'll probably feel right at home here.)

What you'll be doing

• Leading your section and delivering exceptional service
• Sharing stories behind our food, wine, and spirits
• Supporting the team during premium experiences like Gin & Tea and our five-course Discovery Dinners (think story-time rather than tasting dinner)
• Helping guests feel like they've just discovered Sydney's best-kept secret

What we're looking for

• Experience in premium restaurants or cocktail bars
• A natural conversationalist who enjoys connecting with people
• Confidence managing a section and reading the room
• Interest in spirits, wine, or cocktails - or the curiosity to learn
• Availability for nights and weekends
