About the Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Contingent Talent Officer to join our Elections Workforce Team immediately This role plays a pivotal part in the tender, implementation and delivery of our large-scale contingent casual election workforce.

You will bring strong coordination and stakeholder management skills; experience managing end-to-end recruitment lifecycle in a fast-paced environment. The role works closely with both internal teams and external providers from the Contingent Workforce Scheme to ensure a seamless workforce experience.

Success in this role requires sound understanding of awards, procurement processes, experience implementing targeted recruitment initiatives, as well as the ability to operate confidentiality and professionally under pressure.

Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in managing contingent workforce and partnering with contingent labour hire providers.
  • Experience in developing and implementing talent attraction and management strategies in an event or project environment.
  • Track record in building relationships and collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups to meet business requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in resolving complex workforce issues and complaints, with a focus on early intervention and internal resolution.
  • Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/third party campaigners.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.

This role is based in at our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office with a hybrid work arrangement, however leading into election time, you will be expected to be in the office full-time and possibly work in offsite locations across Sydney.
