About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Carpenter to join our team at MELBOURNE BUILT CO P/L in Cheltenham VIC 3192. This is a full-time position, an immediate start is preferred, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality carpentry services to our residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and oversee daily carpentry work on residential and commercial projects
  • Supervise and mentor apprentices and tradespeople on-site
  • Interpret and work from technical plans and specifications
  • Coordinate with site managers and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and productive worksite
  • Ensure quality control across all aspects of the build

What we're looking for

  • Qualified carpenter with a Cert III in Carpentry (or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to read plans and manage timelines
  • Physically fit and safety-focused
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented is a must.
