TSPV - ICT Security Architect / Engineer

Location: Canberra, ACT

Are you an experienced ICT Security Engineer with a passion for secure systems design and hands-on security implementation? Join a multi-project program of national importance where you'll work directly with project and capability teams to deliver robust, compliant, and practical security solutions. This role offers the opportunity to influence major defence-aligned ICT capabilities, with the potential to support a range of projects requiring your technical and advisory expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, assess and implement ICT security controls across complex systems
  • Conduct risk assessments, business impact analysis, and vulnerability reviews
  • Provide guidance on security strategies and contribute to policy development
  • Participate in agile delivery processes, design reviews, and stakeholder meetings

Key Criteria:

  • Strong understanding of IT security architecture and threat modelling
  • Demonstrated experience implementing controls aligned with PSPF, ISM, ISO27001
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with sensitivity and discretion in a high-security environment

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV clearance to perform this role.
