About the role

SMS Diesel Spares Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver/Warehouse Person to join our dynamic team in Brisbane, QLD. As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Person, you will be responsible for efficiently delivering goods to our customers while also supporting our warehouse operations. This is a crucial role that contributes to the smooth running of our retail and consumer products business.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely and promptly delivering goods to customers in the Brisbane area using the company vehicle
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of delivery trucks
  • Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation
  • Supporting general warehouse duties, including stock receiving, organisation, and inventory management
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients during deliveries
  • Creating consignment notes using basic data entry computer skills

What we're looking for

  • A valid driver's licence and experience in a similar delivery/warehousing role
  • A current car licence (C) for delivery driving responsibilities
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to prioritise and complete tasks efficiently
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment
