WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
Are you passionate about advancing mental health care through research? Join the Borderline Personality Disorder Collaborative (BPD Co) as a Project Officer - Research, and contribute to innovative, person-centred service development. Based within SA Health's Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, this position is an opportunity to support meaningful research and evaluation in a collaborative and specialised setting.
You'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to improving outcomes for people living with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), supporting research that influences practice, service delivery, and policy.
ABOUT BDP CO
The BPD Collaborative (BPD Co) state-wide service has been developed in response to the demonstrated need for enhanced, evidence-based BPD service development in South Australia, tailored to the needs of consumers, carers and clinicians.
Since 1 July 2019, BPD Co has delivered supports and services to clients of all ages living with severe and complex BPD, with a focus on services for new parents, young people with emerging BPD, Aboriginal people, people from LGBTQIA communities and people in the criminal justice system.
Delivered through a hub and spoke model, BPD Co offers outreach, consultation and liaison services, shared assessment and treatment planning, support and clinical supervision, integrated with primary care and service partners. It will have a research function and collaborate with tertiary education partners to inform evidence-based practice and continuous service improvement. More information here

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Support the design, coordination and delivery of research and evaluation projects related to BPD services.
- Assist with ethics applications, data management, analysis and preparation of publications and reports.
- Liaise with a range of stakeholders including clinicians, researchers, and people with lived experience.
- Contribute to strategic planning and knowledge sharing across the service and wider community.
