Hourly Rate: $45.53 – $51.17 per hour (based on experience)

Busy Bees at Kilburn is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our vibrant centre with passion and purpose. With a licensed capacity of 100 children, you'll oversee operations, mentor your team, and ensure the highest standards of care, education, and compliance.

As a Centre Director, you will:

• Lead, coach, and support your team to deliver exceptional early learning experiences
• Manage day-to-day operations including compliance, occupancy, and staffing
• Partner with families and the local community to promote a welcoming and inclusive environment
• Drive centre performance through strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting
• Foster a culture of learning, wellbeing, and professional growth

• Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
• Proven leadership experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Director (minimum 2 years)
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Current SA Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• A passion for driving educational excellence and team development

Centre Manager

We are looking for an extraordinary person to lead our team of highly skilled teachers. This role will give you the opportunity to utilise your outstanding leadership skills

About you:

As a passionate and experienced leader, you will wear many hats to allow you to manage in an ever-evolving environment and be adaptable to meet a variety of needs. You will have a strong "on the floor" presence, providing mentoring and role modelling of exceptional teaching practice to the team.

Role Requirements:

• B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification.

• Demonstrated leadership experience you will love to coach, mentor and inspire

• Initiative, desire and passion for quality practice standards and commitment to the principles of Te Whāriki.

• Familiarity with the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations and Code of Ethics.

• A comprehensive understanding of how to maintain and grow occupancy levels.
