The Role

Due to internal movement, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the HR team for a Junior Recruiter / Recruitment Consultant. We are seeking a vibrant, outgoing, and personable individual to join our Head Office in Oakleigh South. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience and be eager to learn the business from the ground up. This position will report directly to the National Recruitment Manager. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive HR team that supports a predominantly blue and white collar workforce, as well as diverse stakeholder groups across various levels. It will be an exciting and varied day for you, and you will be someone who thrives on relationship-building and delivering excellent service to your stakeholders.

About The Position

  • Co-manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, selection, reference checks, and onboarding to ensure top talent is placed in our business
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate candidate records
  • Phone screening and arranging of interviews and other relevant selection activities
  • Conducting interviews as needed and reference checks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and candidates to understand their needs.
  • Support our comprehensive Induction and onboarding program with our in-house coordinator and admin, ensuring employees (new and existing) understand and comply with them.
  • Contract preparation
  • Other admin duties as and when required
  • Chasing supporting documents and information

To ensure your success, you will possess the following;

  • Proven in-house or agency recruitment experience
  • An understanding of full-cycle recruitment and sourcing for blue- and white-collar roles
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Outgoing, confident, and well-spoken
  • Self-motivated and full of energy - Just like our team
  • Microsoft/Excel skills - Intermediate to Advanced
