About the role

Seeking an experienced Surveyor to join the team at SOS Surveying, a leading construction surveying firm based in Melbourne, Victoria. As a Construction Surveyor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality surveying services to a diverse range of construction projects. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the continued success of the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting comprehensive land and construction surveys to support project planning, design, and execution
  • Preparing detailed survey reports, drawings, and other technical documentation
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accurate implementation of survey data
  • Maintaining survey equipment and instruments to the highest standards

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Surveying or relevant practical site experience
  • Experience as a Construction Surveyor
  • Excellent technical skills and proficiency in the use of survey equipment and software
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
