About the Company
Roy Gripske and Sons are a family owned and run business seeking Store Persons with a good work ethic who will demonstrate the necessary skills and motivation to assist in the day to day operation of our distribution centre in Laverton North.
Led by the Warehouse Manager, you will be part of the warehouse team primarily involved in picking and packing of customer orders. Your tasks will include:
- Picking and packing of goods for dispatch, from small boxes to large pallet items
- Receipt of stock into the warehouse (including unloading of containers)
- Replenishing shelves
- Forklift driving (if licenced) - Loading and unloading trucks, storing pallet items
- Completing regular stock takes
- General warehouse and housekeeping duties
The Right Person for the Role:
We are looking for career oriented individuals who want to join a company that is committed to its people. Our business has a strong sense of team, and you must be a team player able to fit in with the culture of the current team - strong work ethic, positive attitude and a willingness to 'put in'. You must be physically fit and able to undertake lifting of up to 20kg. Though not essential, a forklift ticket, and previous warehousing experience would be highly regarded, as would experience using RF guns

We are offering permanent (Monday - Friday) full time opportunities for the right candidates, with hourly rates of pay depending on your experience and qualifications, and opportunity for paid overtime during busy periods.
