Role: Customer Care Consultant

Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year + superannuation

About the Role:

The primary role of the successful applicant will be to assist with and successfully resolve customer service queries.

As the first point of contact for all our customer enquiries, you will be the face and voice of Kandu

We are looking for a proactive and organised quick learner that can bring a positive & enthusiastic energy to our close-knit team

Responsibilities:
  • Full-time & Permanent position, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Effectively manage a high volume of inbound calls & emails and assist with customer enquiries
  • Manage our customers day-to-day movement of freight by providing proactive tracking and reporting and advising them of any issues
  • Liaise with customers and carriers regarding collections, deliveries and various other freight management enquiries
  • Track customers freight, investigate and respond to customer concerns and complaints
  • Maintain exceptional relationships with carriers and customers
  • Provide tailored shipment quotes for customers based on their needs
  • Escalate priority issues when required to the Account Managers
  • Provide valuable insights into the movement of customer freight and potential issues to the Account Managers
Requirements:
  • Excellent multitasking skills as well as sound computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Must be proactive and able to take ownership of their responsibilities
  • Ability to work under pressure with great time management
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Experience within the freight and transport industry is preferred
