An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Thornlie Medical Centre. We are a medical centre dedicated to high quality healthcare, while considering your work-life balance. We are seeking a casual/part time RN/EN to join or friendly, supportive team for 2 days a week to support our current nursing staff.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Immunisations according to current ACIR guidelines
  • ECG, Spirometry
  • Managing dressings and wound care
  • Liaising with other GPs and health care professionals
  • Assisting Reception and GPs to ensure smooth efficient work-flow
  • Assisting with minor surgery
  • Managing recalls and reminders
  • Monitoring and ordering stock and consumables
  • Maintaining good infection control standards
  • Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management Plans

Skills and experience

The eligible candidate must:

Have current EN/RN registration with AHPRA

Independent yet cooperative and a good team player

Have good computer skills

Adaptable to new policies and guidelines

Current CPR certification

Comfortable with providing vaccinations

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $33.00 – $40.00 per hour
